Dennis Sandris Nielsen
Dennis Sandris Nielsen is a professor in food microbiology at the Department of Food Science at the University of Copenhagen.
He has worked with the gut microbiome for about 16 years, and has a background in food science and a Ph.D. in fermentation of cocoa beans.
Dennis is also head of the research group Food Microbiology, Gut Health, and Fermentation with two focus areas: Food fermentations and starter cultures & Gut microbiomes and gut health.
